Les organisations font face aujourd\u2019hui \u00e0 des changements d\u2019une ampleur comparable \u00e0 ceux qui ont pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 la transition du monde agricole au monde industriel. M\u00eame si nous n\u2019en connaissons pas les contours exacts, notre \u00e9poque correspond assur\u00e9ment \u00e0 la transition d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 industrielle vers une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 post industrielle non seulement digitale mais aussi technologique. Alors, les comportements de tous et, particuli\u00e8rement, ceux des leaders et de ceux qui nous dirigent, doivent commencer \u00e0 refl\u00e9ter cette r\u00e9volution (Masuda, Bell, Castels).<\/p>\n<p>La d\u00e9finition de la performance et du succ\u00e8s n\u2019est plus seulement fond\u00e9e sur la productivit\u00e9 mais sur l\u2019agilit\u00e9 et l\u2019adaptation \u00e0 l\u2019incertitude. Selon les \u00e9conomistes (IOD London), le futur appartiendra aux organisations qui accepteront le changement comme un \u00e9tat naturel mettant en avant non plus seulement la complexit\u00e9 mais \u00e9galement l\u2019ambigu\u00eft\u00e9 (Mercer) et qui seront ainsi capables de r\u00e9pondre aussi rapidement que possible aux besoins changeants d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de consommateurs exigeants.<\/p>\n<p>Au niveau de l\u2019organisation, l\u2019agilit\u00e9 se traduira par la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 se remettre constamment en question, de s\u2019adapter, de g\u00e9rer l\u2019incertitude, de comprendre et d\u2019accepter ces nouveaux contextes.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les individus, cette r\u00e9volution demandera de nouvelles connaissances associ\u00e9es \u00e0 des attitudes originales et des aptitudes in\u00e9dites.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, le paradoxe du nouveau leadership est que l\u2019agilit\u00e9 demande une stabilit\u00e9 personnelle, une identit\u00e9 forte bas\u00e9e sur un syst\u00e8me de valeur solide qui coexistera avec une approche ouverte, flexible et adapt\u00e9e, comme le danseur classique qui \u00e0 besoin d\u2019\u00eatre stable sur ses appuis pour ma\u00eetriser et ex\u00e9cuter de nouvelles figures.<\/p>\n<p>Certaines caract\u00e9ristiques de leadership telles que la passion, l\u2019engagement, la discipline, le charisme (Weber, Bennis) coexisteront avec un nouvel \u00e9tat d\u2019esprit : celui de l\u2019ajustement, de l\u2019entrepreneur caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u2019id\u00e9e et le sens que l\u2019on donne \u00e0 son action. La curiosit\u00e9 et le d\u00e9sir d\u2019apprendre, la projection dans le futur et la pens\u00e9e innovante, l\u2019acceptation de son imperfection et l\u2019humilit\u00e9, la compassion vis-\u00e0-vis de soi et la r\u00e9silience, l\u2019acceptation du risque et l\u2019optimisme, enfin, un nouveau style de relation \u00e0 l\u2019autre devront permettre de g\u00e9rer les situations difficiles et les in\u00e9vitables conflits qui en r\u00e9sultent.
